Went running today.  A nice run too.  Also, I went for a bile ride this morning to go and fetch some cat food.  Kaspyr was very angry at me for walking into the kitchen and not feeding him, he thought I was unaware that he was out of food.  I felt bad,  so I dropped everything and got my bike and went down the road to the shops for some food.  When I got back I continued to make vegetable soup with bruschetta topped with olive oil and tomatoes.  So my cat and I sat at the table and munched on our food together.  Oh I love my cat.  Today, after I did all of that, I did some major cleaning of the house.  I can now see the floor of the closet, my rooms smells like vanilla, (wait, it always does) and I could eat right of the kitchen counter if I wanted, but I don’t.  I think Hannah should come over so we can bake cookies together, and drink tea afterwards, that would be nice, no?  Well, I’m sorry that this post is so very short, but I haven’t played Sims 3 in about a week and I think I’m due for a little relaxing time.  Oh, my mum just went out with her friend Robin a second ago, which reminds me, she' passed her tests at school today and just submitted her Mythology final!  Three cheers for mum!  ;)  Well, Adios mes amigos!

Hello!  How are you today?  I’m going to go for a run later.  I need to start that up again.  I’ve just been doing cardio and yoga lately, I’m due for a run.  Alright, so today, I had some yummy Raisin Bran Crunch for brekkie and I’m going to indulge in an amazing falafel salad with chickpeas, spring onion and other yummy veggies.  Ma mere went out today and got some more vanilla soy, yay!  Last night when I made some chocolate chip cookies, I has frustrated because we didn’t have any Silk Soy Milk… vanilla.  ;)  It’s the best stuff in the world.  Speaking of food, I’ll tell you about all the other wonderful things I’ve bought recently…

• Spinach and soy cheese spring rolls
• half a trillion mushroom lovers burgers
• half a million Asian Spice burgers
• some good ol’ fakin bacon
• A few baked soft pretzels (sans salt) stuffed with spinach and artichoke (mmm)
• And a few more boxes of Spinach and Artichoke Veggie Bites from Morning Star

Yes, I like Spinach and Artichoke, if you couldn’t guess.  So, with all of these wonderful choices, I need to decide upon what to have for supper… the spinach and soy cheese rolls (maybe with a side of rice and steamed veggies) is looking good right now. Enough talk about food, on with other news aside from what’s inside my freezer/refrigerator.   I made a dress today… yep, a Kate Nash style dress.  I used a dark sea-blue poly-cotton for the skirt and for the bust, I used this dainty little floral fabric.  I haven’t put straps on it yet because I can’t decide upon straps or sleeves.  They would be short sleeves, maybe bubbled or bunched.  Hmmm.  Well, there’s the picture down there, you can’t really see the dress too well, but you can get a general feel for it, oui? I guess I’m pretty handy with the sewing machine that my grandma gave me.  Considering the fact that it’s from the 70’s and hasn’t been used in over eight years, I think I did a pretty good job with it.  I just need to fix the hemming on the skirt and then it will be 100% finished.  :D

This is probably one of the most adorable videos I have ever seen.  I’ve decided that I want her!  A little brunette French fille.  She has the biggest, cutest, brown eyes and little bob of hair. 

Look at the other related videos too, there’s one where she stole some sweets and is telling her mum to help her hide from her dad.  So cute!  Stefan is playing along to Hallelujah  by Paramore on the drums.  He’s gotten quiet good at it too!  Steafene, Stefan and I are going to do Battle of the Bands together.  We’re still trying to decide upon which songs to do.  Kate Nash, Fall Out Boy, Paramore and some other bands have grabbed our attention recently.  We’ll see what will happen though.  I’m about to go make a yummy vegan mushroom lovers burger with saffron hummus and whole wheat pita bread.  I’ve been experimenting with different different spices for hummus and last week i stumbled upon some Saffron we had in out cupboard, so I threw it in, added some garlic and other herbs (that I've been growing in my garden)  and BANG, amazing, delicious hummus to top of my burger.  :) I just got a bunch of forms in the post today, applications for the coming school year… woot woot.  Alright, Let me go and fill ‘em out.  xoxoxo

I’m back at home now after a fun-filled double-sleepover with Steafene.  It was lots of fun, and now I’m munching on a fudgesicle…however you spell it.  I just have one question from our sleepover…. WHY DID WE SLEEP IN A CAR!?  We are so silly!  I saw Manchester Orchestra on the telly today.  The song was I Have Friends, not their best, but whatever.  That’s a picture of me with black hair.  It’s not real though, it’s a weave, and eight dollar weave to be precise lol.  Well, I asked people what they thought, and the standings are as follows:

So that’s 15 and counting in favour of my black hair and 2 against the idea.  I think I’ll go for the pink though, I’ve wanted les cheveux rose for a really long time.  And some people can get away with it.  Like the amazing Audrey Kitching.  She doesn’t look like a hoe/tramp/etc. and her hair is all over pink pink pink.  But, she’s a stunning model who runs around with pretty dresses, shoes and make-up.  And I run around in dresses and heels.  Blah, I just feel like I need to do something with my hair… because I’ve been blonde for so long, I want something new. Okay, so I'm sleeping over Steafene's house another day now. Yay! So this post is (yet again) going to be un-formatted and not as gorgeous as I could make it because, well, not everyone has my amazing blog editor. ;) Steafene and I did something rather... strange... last night. But, really, come on, what would you expect?! Basically, we camped out in Steafene's new car, Hayley. It was pretty comfy, until it got really humid and steamy in the car (ooh whee! lol). We created about, half a million new inside jokes, and you're outside, ha ha ha. Jayyy Kayy. I'm not that mean. We're drinking Virgin Pina Coladas right now, and they are THE most amazing things... EVER. Too bad we missed National Pina Colada day on the 11th of July... ah well, there's always next year! ;D (hint hint Steafene) Well, we're going to blog a tad on Steafene's blog, which I think you should check out: http://www.athenasbrandneweyes.blogspot.com/ do it, because I said to. Good day everyone… my mum didn’t get off the computer before I went to bed, so I just fixed yesterday’s post right now.  Yesterday I went to Hannah’s and we hung out for a while.  Today, I’ll having a water gun fight with mes frères and making some yummy vegetarian food.  Then tomorrow will be an amazing day because I’ll be off to Steafene’s. Ugh my space bar is spazzing out and making this post a chore.  Ick!  Alex just handed me some crushed ice but it tastes like chardonnay!  What the heck?!  I wish my spacebar wouldn’t be so stupid. ☂ haha it’s an umbrella… I don’t know why, but it is.  I feel like watching some mindless television right now.  I actually don’t feel like doing anything. My phone is finally working so I’m just chatting to Steafene and drinking cream soda. French manicure tomorrow!  Yay!  ;)  Oh no, The Kooks just started playing on Stefan’s iPod. Once I start listening to them, I just can’t stop.  But the iPod is on the other side of the room plugged into the stereo and I’m far too  comfy sitting here to bother turning on The Kooks playlist, so I’ll just leave it on shuffle.  I’m going to keep this post short because I have some things to finish up before I can relax.  I did some errands this morning with my mum, but I think I mentioned that already, ah well.  Ciao!

hello! Sorry about the ugliness of this post, mum is hogging the computer right now so I have to make due with my ox 'laptop' that I haven't used in a while. I went to Hannah's grandma's today. We went out to eat at Sultan's, yummy. I got lots of yummy vegetarian food, like falafel and hummus and baba gannouche... however you spell that. I can't wait to go over to Steafene's house on Sunday, I haven't been over there in a really long time. Lately it's either been Brianna's house, concerts, my house and everywhere BUT Steafene's house. Oh, I forgot to mention.... Steafene got her car a little while back! Yay! We have a car! Ad her name is Hayley. ;) I'll add a picture to this post and fix it up all nice and pretty when ma mere gets off Sims 3 and does something more productive.
I kind of want an ice lolly right now, but I'm stuffed from going out to eat with Hannah and her Anglophile grandmother and grandfather. :)
Oh my days I cannot get over how ugly this post is going to look until I fix it! I'm a tad OCD in the sense that I like to have a set format for my posts, as you probably could have already guessed. With my titles and subtitled and credits, fonts, pictures, watermarks, captions and sign offs, everything is the same.
Well, I'm going to add the finishing touches to Steafene's amazing present ;) and then write in my diary (I missed writing last night, ops). Okay, night!

Hello to all! Anyone miss me? Probably not because I can hardly write in this thing and Laura is waaay deeper and random than I am. You probably don't care that I'm writing or apart of this blog, reader. Whatever. I can never stick to anything for very long, although I really want to and I try my hardest. Moving on... I've been feeling very--lonely and rejected lately. Sure my family is fun, and I don't make an effort to reach out to my friends. But I'm just so over it all. Summer vacation I mean. I want desperately to get back to school, get a job, start up French club, go to Animal Rights meetings, and just get back into the hustle and bustle of everything. Maybe I should go to some intense private summer school that is emotionally and mentally straining. I just need to do something school related...

Ugh I'm so bored! Right now I"m obsessed with the game on Facebook "Restaurant City". I'm going to get back to that now...

P.S. LAURA!! I'll be at my grandparents all week starting Monday. We need to hang out!

This is a picture of a bobcat cub snuggling up with a baby deer.  I think it’s adorable that they’re natural enemies and one day the bobcat may end up chowing down on the delicious rump of fawny.  And this is probably why it was listed under ‘Cute or Sad’ at www.cuteoverload.com .  And so was this adorable video.  I almost cried when I first saw it a few weeks ago.  I love his paws, and cute meow and his kitten ears…. and his jump.  What cat jumps across the room to a saloon door?!  A silly one, that what.

Well, I needed a cheer up, hence the videos and pictures of cute stuff.  Last night …hold that thought… alright I’m back.  Sorry about that, it’s raining right now and I had the undeniable impulse to run outside.  Yeah yeah yeah, think I’m crazy yet?!  :)  Lots of people like to run out in the rain, like Panic at the Disco for instance.  Well, I think I’m just going to cut this short and reply the kitten fail video half a million times and eat veggie food.  I’m going to Steafene’s this Sunday for a very girly sleepover.  :D About time!!!  xoxoxoxo

PS: this correlated with the weird dream I had, yesterday, Audrey Kitching had a dream with a natural disaster in it, Orangutans were the Cute Overload pics of the day (I have NO idea why) and Steafene had a cup of Mac and Cheeeeeese :P  funny, eh?

Wow.  I had a really intense dream last night. I’ll try tell you about it, I might jump, skip and run about through the dream and leave out something,but dreams are hard to recall fully. Alright here I go:

I was sitting at home at the dining room table and Stefan was at the dining room table too on the computer taking some sort of quiz.  I didn’t know what the heck he was doing really but I played along like I did.  Then, the next thing I remember is having to run with everyone under a dining room table that had the same tablecloth as my dining room table but was much much bigger and was in a room much smaller, except for one thing…. one of the walls was gone, and in it’s place was a disturbing setting of exotic plants and a volcano and was about to erupt.  Then someone told me that it was going to shoot tomatoes out at us.  I didn’t believe it so I poked my head out and then I saw one, a tomato flying through the air and so I went back under the table.  Suddenly thousands of those red round fruits showered down on us and then stopped.  I was about to leave but then his kid told me to wait.  Then we heard a rumbling and he said “that’s the sound it makes when we go over it…”  he didn’t make any sense.  But then more tomatoes came down.  And that happened 3 or 4 times.  When it was done, we all went home.  I went to my room and it was smaller than my real room.  But while I wasn’t there, Steafene came in and decorated it with posters and drawings.  I remember one was of a boat in the middle of the ocean, a small paddle boat, and it said All Nereids Beware.  And I saw red splatter marks everywhere in front of the open window, so I asked Stefan if I was dreaming and he said no, the tomato thing did actually happen.  And now everyone was poor, it was a full throttle depression.  So I started bottling water and turning lights off and collecting food.  The next thing was , I was sitting in the living room next to more tomato splatter marks and then I saw a baby orangutan outside, I swear I almost fainted.  But then the neighbour picked it up and left.  So I went outside to do some work, but they brought the ape back outside.  I freaked out and started running, but apparently baby orangutans like to chase running girls because it ran after me and the neighbours told me to walk but I couldn’t!  there was a freaking ORANGUTAN BABY!  And our other neighbours brought one out of nowhere so I flipped and bolted inside.  They were trying to get in the door, and Stefan let it in!  So I ran to my mum’s room and locked the door.  The next thing I remember, I was at the movies with a boy and girl who I don’t actually know.  I can’t remember what we were seeing but the guy bought a hot dog, corn dog, artichoke on a stick (I know, wtf!?) and Something else.   The girl just bought overpriced Mac ’n Cheese, a small little cup of it for $3:50.  But since the tomato event, i had NO money. And then I woke up.

Weird right?  If anyone has any interpretations, that would be awesome!  Thanks, have a great day!

Hey!  It’s lovely outside so I think I’m going to sit in the garden and read.  Then I’m going to finish up Steafene’s present and chill.  We got Sims 3 yesterday, so I might play some of that later on too.  I found me Givenchy necklace today too!  My silver heart one, with all the sparkly stuff on it.  It’s so pretty, I’m going to wear it more often now.  I wish that either Stefan didn’t go to band practice today or that my mum wasn’t working the 3 to 11 shift at work.  If she worked the 7 to 7 or the midnight to 10 shift, I would be able to go to the pool party with Steafene, but, I can’t.  *pouts*  But this weekend I will go over to Steafene’s house and give her the thing I’m making her and the other present for her.  I haven’t been to Steafene’s house in a while, the last sleepover we had was at my house.  (She’s the only one who has slept over here more than once).  It was fun, I think I’ll do that again soon. 

Blah, mum is at her exercise class right now, she’ll be home soon, and then off again.  But grandma will be back so  I won't be all alone forever.  The worst thing is, being home alone and not being able to go out, because I know that in a few hours, I’ll have to be home to babysit.  Grrrrrr.  Well, I have to do some housework, and then I can relax and bathe in the sun… or not, I don’t need to get more tan at all really.

Listening to The Kooks right now.  Love.  Listening to The Kooks and The Strokes together is like adding whipped cream on top of a Nilla Wafer… way too good.  Oh, and I just added The Shins to this equation.  Don’t ask me what’s up with the ‘The ________’ in the bands I’m listening to right now… I really don’t know.  Oh no, now The Fratellis have joined in.  ‘So if you’re lonely, why’d you say you’re not lonely?’….’A girl like you is just irresistible’.  Good song.  Anyways, I’m not sure what to do today.   To be honest, by tummy kinda aches.  :P  I thought this picture was really cute when I saw it.  I’m making Steafene something incredibly amazing and I want to finish it by this weekend to I can give it to her when I see her, it’s really awesome, I’m proud of it and kinda want to keep it.  My nails are actually growing, it’s nice.  They click against the keyboard when I type and if I tap my fingers against the table, they make a little tapping noise.  I want to get my nails done though.  I think I’ll go with my mum for a manicure.  Acrylic nails would be sweet, because then my real nails would grow longer underneath.  Have you ever noticed that the nails on your index fingers don’t grown in the same way, they grow rounder than the others… or maybe that’s just me.  I quite like waking up at 7:00 am to wake my brothers up and get them ready for camp, because:

1. I feel a lot less lazy
2. My days are longer and
3. I get about 6 hours to myself

It’s really nice.  I can just blast music and chill out while Stefan is asleep and my mum is at college.  I’ve almost finished my diary.  I started it on the 9th of May and I only have a few pages left.  Don’t worry, I have another diary sitting by my bed waiting for me to start scribbling in it.  ;)

Okay, I’m going to go and work on Steafene’s thing, I’ll post pictures of it when I’m all done.  Bye!

Good day!  Well, I found out what GPOYW means.  And I’m considering jumping on the bandwagon.  GPOYW means: Gratuitous Picture Of Yourself Wednesday!  But, I think I’ll jump on that bandwagon when I’m done with this blog.  Blogger is cool and all, but with Tumblr, you can have whatever layout you want, you can even completely customize your own! So when the new school year starts, I’ll start my own Tumblr and do a daily blog.  Or maybe I’ll start it on the new year… hmmm.  Decisions, decisions.  But, like everything else (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc…)  I’ll eventually get one and cherish it (for a while).  Soooo, aside from my sudden new interest in Tumblr and using it, nothing new is up.  :P  I’m just sitting at home, doing nothing productive.  My brother is out and my mum is working until 11:oopm.  So, I’m just babysitting today. I’m making a new Twitter layout right now, and it’s looking pretty sweet if I do say so myself.  The theme of it is keys, because I really, really love keys.  I saw this lock and key necklace at Urban Outfitters and  I really want it!  Well, I have just been inspired and now I want to make Ice Cream Cup Cakes.  They’re amazing.  Bye!

Stefan just ran in singing "’Spice Up Your Life’ by Spice Girls so I thought that would make a fitting title and subtitle.  Well, today was nice, woke up before noon, read some of my book Animal Liberation, which is really good, and I recommend it to: Animal Lovers, Speciesist people, Vegetarians/Vegans, Meat eaters and anyone who is interested in why people support animal rights.  It has some really great points, 5 star read.I think this picture is really stunning.  The colours are amazing and it’s just a brilliant shot overall.  Maybe it’s because I’m in love with butterflies.  I remember when I fell asleep in my grandmother’s garden in Ireland and I woke up and about a dozen or so butterflies where on me.  Blue ones, white ones, monarchs and other pretty colours.  I remember that day so vividly…

Well, I' think I cope with bad news rather well…. some people cry a lot, some people throw fits of confused rage.  Go through the stages of grief/acceptance… but me… I don’t know, I think I go through the stages of grief/acceptance at a very quickened pace.  Denial and Isolation, then Anger, then Bargaining, and after that, Depression, and finally Acceptance.  Either very quickly, all at once, or an extremely slow pace.

Hello my wonderful friends.  I was helping my mother study this morning for her cardiology/biology final exam today.  She’s taking right now!!  (Good luck mummy!)  She’ll do an excellent job, i know it.   But, somewhere between the Brachiocephalic vein and the Plantar Venus Arch, I became totally fascinated with the heart and how it works.  So I did some research and I found some online surgery simulations.  They were really interesting!  I did a bypass, transplant and  hole in heart repair.  I also did some knee surgery, hip replacements and deep brain stimulation  for fun.  ;)  So I really am fascinated with surgery and I don’t get queasy around blood or anything.   I actually think open heart surgery is interesting as hell.  It’s weird.  But I really want to do something medical, and to be able to get right in there and do surgery would be amazing. 

Well, I feel so amazingly refreshed and pleased that I’ve decided upon something I find interesting.  And, my mum always said that the Medical field was for the over-achievers who don’t faint at the sight of blood.  :P  But one thing that bothers me is dissections.  I'll have to do a handful of ‘em if I want to start cutting up human’s hearts.  I want to start a jewelry company or something.  I think it would be fun and cute.  :)  Well, I’m going to do some yoga before Hannah rings me after her tutor meeting.  :P  Byee!

Hello!!   I woke up at noon today, to the lovely sound of Naive by The Kooks blasting thorough the house. SO good!  I think you should check out www.marinaandthediamonds.com, because she’s a great singer (yes it’s a solo act, not a band) and I love her.  I love her song Obsessions, it’s fantastic.  Oh, you can also download her single ‘I Am Not a Robot’  for free on her blog too.  Her stuff is also on  iTunes. I found this picture on Explore at www.flickr.com and I decided that it embodies my mood very well.  I think it’s so beautiful.  Today, I feel so very content and…. joyous.  I don’t  know why exactly, but, maybe because I got a really great sleep last night, (after running around the house for half an hour because of my RLS).  And now, the yellow, pinks and lilacs in this just seemed right.     It’s my grandma’s birthday today!  Happy birthday to my Grandmere!  She’s coming over to celebrate later on today, so…yay!  :)  I’m going to make her a Spice Cake with whipped vanilla cream frosting.  :)  Well, I have to get started on stuff… so, goodbye!

I was just looking at some pictures from a few years ago and all I have to say is WOW.  I mean, I know I look young for my age but I didn’t know how young I really looked. Here’s a picture of what I mean:

This was taken the day after my 13th birthday.  Yes, I was 13.  It doesn’t help that I’m next to Emerald, (my amazingly tall, skinny, model of a friend) because she just makes my look short and young.  But Claire is also over there, and she’s not 6 feet tall, she’s average height and she even makes it look like I’m hanging out with older girls.  Ah well, I guess when I’m 50, I’ll look 45 haha, that is, if I take care of myself. :P

Alright, so today, I’m not up to anything because I’m an agonizingly tired, I had a god sleep last night, but it wasn’t long.  It took me a good few hours to fall asleep due to my RLS.  I’m probably just going to chill out, relax and finish reading some books that are almost done.  I need to go to the library soon and take out some books.  I need to go do some laundry now, so I might write more later, but maybe not.  Kay, bye!

Steafene and I already made plans for Halloween.  Ha!  It’s because we’re so awesome ;).  We’re going to stay out all night, have a huuuuge bonfire, play music so loud it hurts… and gorge on sweets and horror flicks.  I already can’t wait!

Well, today is le quatorze juillet, or, more commonly known as le jour de la Bastille.  And I guess I’ll attempt une petite peu de la franglais pour aujourd’hui.  D’accord…well, le jour de la Bastille est la fete francaise  qui celebre la debut de la Revolution Francaise.  Je ne comprende pas pourquoi le francaise clebrent aujourd’hui…  maise c’est une bonne excuse pour une boum, non?  Ma mère et je shall boire le champagne et mangerons cheese français, camambert, port salut, St. Point et (of course) bleu de Gex.  Mmmmm.  :)  J’adore des formages, mon prefere formage est Port Salut. 

Enough with that, onto other matters.  My hair is really soft right now,  hahahaha.  Wow, that really wasn’t important.  Anyway… I was on Twitter this morning and this woman started talking to be (en francais)  about Bastille day and why she celebrates it.  My French is awful, so I had to translate  some of it.  She basically said that She thinks celebrating the beginning of a Revolution is stupid, the end is what needs recognition, but it was a bit step for the French, so, why not?  Oh my, I need a picture today… hmm, I shall think outside of the box and go with something unrelated to today’s celebrations.  In other news, my mum is doing an ASL course at the Community College right now.  It’s pretty interesting.  I know a tiny bit of British Sign Language, like numbers, the alphabet and some words, and ASL and BSL are completely different.  ASL is based of of FSL (French Sign Language) and BSL is original.  It’s weird that an American ASL speaker has a better chance of communicating with a French deaf person than a British Deaf person.  But I’ve learned how to say things like “Happy Birthday!”, “My name is Laura” and “Let’s drink alcohol!” , I know, random, but my mum and I were bored, and wanted to use interesting signs.   Well, I have to assemble an ASL presentation now for my mums midterm, so Au revoir!

YAY! Bon Bastille Jour! Happy Bastille Day! Today is the best holiday (next to April Fool's Day a.k.a. my birthday) of the year that ma famille celebrates! It's also my grandma's birthday! In honor of ce jour de gloire, I'm going to write this entry in franglais! Marchons! Marchons! Qu'un sang impur abreuve nos sillons! Anyway, je regrette que I didn't write here over my petite vacance. Je suis trop busy and I went to deux, like, 12 heure parties avec mes cousins. They sure can party! I also had deux meetings with my tutor sur Skype (I got my camera to work Laura!!) and I already have beaucoup des devoirs that I have to do avant friday... My tutor est gentile and is very patient avec moi! I've already spoken more French avec elle than J'ai eu in an enitre year of French quatre! It's totes cray cray (in the mots de ma soeur)! Oui Laura, il faut que nous hang out sometime very soon! I'm not doing anything until the last semaine de juliet quand ma cousin from Traverse City come and Je lui fais beaucoup d'argent regarder! I make almost $200 dollars watching her joue et crier for a week! Anything else....? I don't think so...Je hope that it's films de francais jour on the IMC channel. Ooh! I'm going shopping avec ma mere aujourd'hui parce que ma soeur's b-day is in 3 jours! Au revoir!

Hi!  I woke up at 12:00pm today.  I was up rather late writing an essay on Greek mythology.  Antiogne, Athena, Odysseus and the lot.  Didn’t get to sleep until past 4:00am.  My I am really exhausted.  My brothers went to camp this morning, and they’ll be back around 4pm.  So i am just going to laze around and not do anything today.  I think I’ll take a bubble bath though….

My stepmum took some pictures of my sister and posted them on Facebook yesterday.  So I thought I’d share one.  I can’t wait to actually meet her!  Oh god, I’m so so so tired!  I need to take a shower and wake up!  My hair could do with another wash too.   Well, I really do apologize for such a short post but, t’is a lazy day, so… :P  farewell!

Good day!!  Yes, it has been a truly lovely day.  I got up at 8:00am and got ready, then was picked up by Brianna at 9:30am to go off to a pool party which was absolutely fantastic.  I loved it!  The pool was 80 degrees!!  And Steafene and I had an amazing amount of fun with our flippy-floppies and making big splashes and such.Today was a great day, there’s nothing like hanging out with my bestie and her family (whom I adore greatly)  by the pool (and in the pool).  I really want my own pool now.  Seems like a great investment… :).  Ugh, I got a bit too tanned today, yes, I did just say that.  I hate tan lines with a passion and I’ve darkened quiet a bit today.  Ah well, what am I gonna do?  ;)

I got a new book in the post yesterday from Peta2.  Animal Liberations, and it’s really good so far. I’ve learned a lot from the twenty or so pages I’ve glanced through haha.  I really want a white Pomeranian now.  After meeting Riley, I fell in love with the goofy looking, adorable, harp-seal look alike canine.  Ahh!  They are SO cute! They have harp seal eyes that I really cannot resist!  Well, I have to go take care of some stuff, like hunger.  ;)  byeee!

Mmmm, banana cream pie.  :)  Usually I don’t like banana flavoured things, but this is an exception.  I’m looking at universities right now, some in the US and some in the UK and Ireland.  My Grandma wants me to go to Stanford because that’s where she went.  It’s in California, which is pretty cool.  A year at Princeton costs $49,190, a year at Stanford is around $48,380.  And that’s just fro tuition and room & board.  An Ivy League school would be cool, I’d get to be in a New England state, in some of the oldest buildings in America.  I don’t care about the price tag though, because nothing will stop me from getting into the College I want to get into.  Well, I have Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) unfortunately.  It’s really irritating and make falling asleep really hard, right now I want to just go run around to get  the feeling to go away.  ARGH!  Whatever, I’m taking Iron supplements because that’s said to be a cause sometimes.  Nothing much going on today.  Bye!

Good evening!  My mum is going to take the computer with her when she goes on her overnight shift at work, so I’m going to fit this in now while I have time.  I took some more pictures on my cell phone today.  I’m going to post them up on Flickr. I guess I’ll use them here too. :)  So.,.. my mother is on Prozac now due to all of her stress.  And this just means that I shall have a very happy mother.  Oh wow, sorry, I was spending so much time editing and uploading pictures that I didn’t realise I had wasted so much time!  Okay,  Well I guess I’ll just post the original Pill picture before I did the editing.  I really love photo editing.  For this one, I just messed with the highlights and shadows a bit, intensified the colour, saturation, temperature and added a slight vignette to polish it off.  :)  Haha, did that mean much to ya? Okay, well, I have go and watch something with my little  brother and mum before she disappears for the night.

So I just got back from the Aquatic Center and it was pretty fun.  I went with my little brothers and my Nan.  We got there and I hadn’t even toughed the water yet, when a kid decided to poo in the pool.  So they had to get everyone out and clean it up.  So then we had to wait a while before we could get back in.  Silly child.

I’m listening to Pandora.com right now.  I love Pandora. :)  I don’t have to keep skipping songs.  NEWS!  Panic At The Disco are splitting up!  I forgot to mention that a few days ago.  Steafene told me earlier this week that they splitting up.  They will release the next album and continue the tour but then that’s it.  John Walker and Ryan Ross are deciding that they want to do their own thing.  Shame, I love them.  :(   Today was a good day.  I woke up, talked to my mum, went swimming, relaxed in the sunshine, talked to Hannah on Skype for a bit, talked, texted and drank Jarritos (Pineapple flavour ;]) and now I’m listening to Feist.  Hannah, we must hang out soon!  Yes, Steafene does live farther away that you, and we do manage to hang out a lot, but, she has the same story as you, she needs to plan stuff out wayyy in advance.  NO excuses missy!! 

I never really listened to the lyrics of Young Folks by Peter Bjorn and John.  They are actually very sweet.

Hoi (that’s Hello in Dutch)!  I’m just editing photos right now and writing a poem or two.  Wow, that’s one EMO poem ahaha.  Which is funny because I’m a rather decent mood today. I’m not sick anymore!!  YAY!  I’m going to go to an Ice Cream Social today with my Grandma and my brothers, yum! Well, I’m going to go shopping now with my mum.  Oh, I just finished a birthday card for my Grandma too.  It’s her birthday next week, but I’m not too sure what date exactly haha, so I’m just going to play it safe and send it to her in advance.  I never can remember when her birthday actually is.  I always knew it was in July, because I remember her saying she was a Cancer… oh I’m terrible.  Stefan is singing a song about spaghetti right now, it’s really funny.  Well, I ought to go and get dressed.  Ill maybe update later after the Ice Cream Social.  :)

Alright, I’m back from he social and shopping.   I didn’t eat the free ice cream though, I just had a cookie because I drank a Slim-Fast before I left.  Not because I’m dieting, but because I like them haha, weird, huh?  But anyways, I drank a vanilla one out of boredom and well, they’re supposed to suppress hunger so I actually wasn’t hungry at all.  I decided to put another picture in this post because:

1. it was pretty, and
2. I'm going to a beach next week :D

But, anyways, I actually have plans for tomorrow!  I’m going to go to the Aquatic Center with my brothers and Nan, and then I’ll be off on a bike ride with Urian, fun.  :)  I think I will go on a walk now… so, BYE!

I love that song. Thanks Laura for putting it in your friendship book as my song dedication! Okay, okay. I know my blog entries have been a little picture-less lately, but my life is so boring that I don't need to illustrate it! Otherwise, the pics would be of paint drying or just gray (or gray paint drying!)... I can't wait for tomorrow and Friday through Sunday.Which reminds me I have to call my grandmother about both those things. I don't really have anything else to write except that I missed the new episodes of "Kathy Griffin: My Life On The D- List" and "NYC prep", which threw my whole week upside down. You see, my entire schedule for summer and school depends on when new episodes of TV shows are on. I know that's really sad but there's reason behind it. While the rest of my school is hanging out downtown everyday or just hanging out, I have nothing to do because I live really far away from everyone. Laura's probably going "Steafene lives even further away from you Hannah, and we still hang out all the time!" Well my parents like me to plan a week ahead for everything until I get my driver's licence (which they keep putting off for 2 years now-- driver's ed I mean), so my poor, lonely car is being driven by my dad who is gone all the time. Anyway, the TV keeps me current because without it I would be relying on my Internet (can you say dial-up?), which is a hassle. Okay, I'm done ranting! Peace out.

Hello hello hello!  I’m listening to Marina and The Diamonds right now,  and a lot of it too.  She’s really very unique and amazing!  Well, today I think I shall go with a Lomography theme because I’m in love with that style of photography.  And I was just looking around Flickr and I stumbled upon Kaarins who had a Lomography vs. Polaroid set and I really really like both of them.  So I went poking around and found this.  Hmm, let me go look for another one.  Ohhh, here!   This was taken in Detroit.  And the watermark that I applied was the original title.  Today, I’m very, very bored.  And still rather sick.  So My health kick has been set back for a few days until I recover.  It’s hard to get out and go for a run when you feel like hell.  I think you should check out my stream on Flickr =]http://www.flickr.com/photos/laura_amour/

Bonjour!  Haha, Hannah, I think it was fitting for you to yell "VIVE LA FRANCE!!!" on the 4th of July, seeing as they were friends of the Rebels. ;)  After our lovely fireworks on the lake, we chanted the England football chant, like during a match.  It was really funny because it we did it after every big firework our neighbors set off.  Good times.  :)  So, our next celebration will be Guy Fawkes Night, better known as Bonfire Night, on the 3rd of November.  The plan is to go over to Steafene’s house and use her bonfire pit, which is huge and well all make a ’Guy’ together and burn it.  Oh, and eat and drink and laugh and have fun!  Yup, So, I’m kind of sick right now, I have a massive headache and I just don’t feel well.  X_X  I’m going to make some hot soup right now.  So, I hope everyone has a good Monday. Salut! How was every one's weekend? I see that Laura's was great, as was mine (although I don't really care for Paramore--not my style). On the fourth of July my family went to my grandparent's house to have a dinner (can you say ribs?) and then we went to a Lugnut's game in Lansing. I haven't been in a couple of years, but boy was it fun! Did you know it's actually more fun if you watch the game??? I know, right! And I saw a few people (all guys, but a few annoying class of '10-ers, all girls). Afterwards, there were amazing fireworks and as we were leaving I started yelling "VIVE LA FRANCE!!!", much to my dad's liking ;). Overall it was a pretty good evening. I also finally got Skype, and will be trying it out soon with...my tutor! I'm really excited to start getting tutored because it's been far too long that I've actually learned how to speak French--even though I'll be in AP French this coming school year (Laura, you know the story of French 3...). Well, not much is going on, except that I'm going to Erie, PA this weekend! That should be loads of fun! Anyway, I think I'm going to go and be lazy now...and play the Sims 2...

Hey! I’m home now and I now have time to tell you all how meeting Paramore with Steafene came to pass.

On July 3rd Steafene took me to the No Doubt and Paramore show and we got pretty close to the stage considering we were not that early.  But anyways, we were by some very lovely girls from Ohio and we were also next to some rather unpleasant 20-something year olds who told us they were “sorry” we were born with short genes, they were a pain.  But we enjoyed ourselves anyway.  Steafene then decided to write a note to Paramore, saying how she admired them yada yada yada.  So she then decided to write her number on the note and throw it on stage.  It seemed lie we made it so we smiled and carried on enjoying the show.  We stayed for a good portion on No Doubt but we decided to leave when being squished between stinky, tall, sweaty, 20-something year olds was no longer enjoyable.  We walked along the hallways of the Palace of Auburn Hills and got  a huge cup of water with a zillion ice cubes in it and looked at some merch for the bands.  Then Steafene stopped in her tracks and exclaimed:  “OMG!  They called us!!”  We both instantly flipped out and started bolting for the stairs.  We quickly stopped of at the ticket office to get our ticket stubs back and then we headed to the exit.  Before we left the Palace we listened to the voicemail that Steafene received and it said the following:

“Hey Steafene and Laura, it’s Hayley.  I got your letter and I really appreciate it and if you guys can make your way up front then we can try and get you back stage.  Just say you’re Steafene and Laura. Okay bye!”

So we freaked out again and ran around trying to figure out where they would be, we asked a security guard who directed us to the tour buses and so that is where we went.  We passes a bunch of tall men wearing dark colours and Steafene congratulated them on their performance and carried on walking, but I stopped. You see, amongst the tall brunette men, I saw a short, red-head….Hayley Williams!  Steafene noticed I had stopped and realised that Hayley Williams was standing right there.  So we said hi and told her our names but she just looked confused.  We told her about the voicemail, and low and behold… it was a prank someone had pulled on us!  But did we really care?  NO WAY!  We were standing in a car park talking to Paramore by their tour bus!  We talked to them for a few minutes but then they decided to go inside when they saw that some other fans had caught on the their whereabouts.  So yes, we freaked out for a little while longer and then got in the car, freaked out more, and went home… and freaked out more.  So yeah, we met Paramore!!!  Good day!

Hi guys! What's up? Sorry again for the unformatted post, so unlike me, I know, but I will fix it after I get back from th cottage, promise!
I saw Paramore and No Doubt last night and it was amazing!! The stage was awesome and the sound was brilliant! I got some pretty good pictures on Steafene's camera, nice shots for sure. So I'll post those when I'm not posting from and iPod Touch. :) But the best part of the night was hanging out with Paramore!!
I'll tell you the whole story when I have time, but right now I have to go!  I'm going up North to celebrate my first ever 4th of July in America.  I’m going to watch the fireworks on the lake and set off some of our own :)  I’ll be sure to update you guys on everything when I get back!  TTYL and everyone have a great 4th of July!

Hello! Sorry for the lack of formatting in this blog post, I'll fix it later  when I have time. I'm on my brothers login on the laptop right now so I can't log into my blog editing program and so my thing with my post like I usually do. But I will fix it later when I'm not as busy.
I'm going to go to a Paramore concert today! It's going to be tiiiight. It's at the palace of Auburn Hills and Steafene is going to be here at 2 to pick me up. Yay! I'm so very very excited! This will be a great end to a horrible week and I really need it.
I was chatting away last night to a few people. And I wish I hadn't spoke to some of them because after our conversation I decided I really really don't like them. But you know what, that doesn't really matter because however I feel about them, I'm going to use my ability to withdraw from stupid situations and apply it to my friendship with that person. They've annoyed me too much really. Well, I'm too excited about this show to really care too much about idiots and what they decide to say to me. Even if they do make me laugh. HAHA! Sorry... I'm kind of digressing...
So, today, Paramore concert, Steafene's house yada yada yada. Oh, and then Up north tomorrow to celebrate the 4th of July! Yay! But I'll talk about that a little bit more later.

Okay, I hate "Sonny With A Chance" but this lyric seems to fit in with my life right now. Today I'm at my grandmother's house cleaning and spending some time with her. Right now her cat is rubbing against her laptop and purring. Anyway, we went to lunch at the Cappuccino Cafe and I got to iron sheets and my grandfather's polo shirts. I love to iron. Hiya.  Last night I went to bed around 12:00am which is unusually early for me.  But 2 hours later I was woken up by my mum who was having really bad heart pains due to her anemia.  She didn’t need to go to the hospital but it wasn’t fun.  And I always feel like I have acid in my stomach when I’m scared. But she’s alright now. I slept on the floor so I could be on call kind of, so now I have a major ache in my neck.  Ah well…

I thought this picture was really adorable when I stumbled upon it while browsing flickr this morning.  I feel sorry for the little sad guy/girl in the back.  I was listening to Regina Spektor, I don’t like her very much but  I turned on Pandora and she came up so I just let it run.

Alright, well, I’ve decided to go on  six week health kick.  This will consist of a better diet, consistent exercise, and maybe I’ll drag myself off to get a manicure, pedicure, and some other beauty things such as face masks, hot oil hair treatments and exfoliation.  And I am actually motivated to keep this up.  I may miss a few days, but maybe I wont.  ;)  You see, lately, I have been doing very well recently in the sense that I have really been keeping up with my personal vows and promises.  I’ve been writing in things daily, forgetting about things, learning from mistakes and changing ways.  So I just might make it through the next six weeks successfully!  Anything is possible really, especially since i have this newly uncovered motivation to better myself inside and out.  I’m actually pretty excited!  :)  YAY!

  Good morning!  I had a very complex dream last night, it involved everyone I’ve been thinking about lately but in very strange situations.  I can’t even begin to describe it.  But it involved certain friends in certain bad situations.  This friend will remain anonymous because, well, i don’t know, some people think that dreams reveal what you really think about someone.  But they went off on a drug adventure, and it was pretty vivid and bleak.  This got me thinking though, why do people take drugs?  Many, many, many reasons, too fat, to flabby, depression, distractible, boredom, curiosity, medical conditions, and everything in between.  Pills are pretty, I just thought I’d put that out there.  But really, they are, they come in any colour you could wish for and they’re not dirty are unclean looking.  Don’t get me wrong, I'm the last person who would pop pills for the hell of it, I mean, I don’t even like taking aspirin or ibuprofen!  But you can see what I mean, right?  I think I shall stick to today’s thought with a picture that I took a while ago.  One of the only negative shots that actually worked out for me.  And with my phone too!  Haha, my mobile phone actually has a pretty decent camera.  Alright, more mindless MTV.  HANNAH-BELLE!!!  CALL ME!! I need someone to talk to!!!
